a disposable cash credit card or debit card

Several times after travelling abroad I've had issues of credit card abuse / theft.

Actually, I've had these problems in parts of the US, too.

I was wondering, does anyone know of a use it and lose it one time debit card? Something I could load up, use once and then get rid of?

Something that doesn't have my identity tied to it so identity theives couldn't back track my data and try to impersonate me? Something like digital cash?

Imagine if you could buy travellers checks like this?

Justin's the king of credit cards - maybe he knows?

Regards,

I'm not a pro on debit cards, but I know National City Bank, which is regional, not sure if it's available everywhere, has a TravelMoney prepaid card that works basically like a traveler's check & it doesn't have your name on it unless you want it to. It's listed on this page if you want to check it out.

I think American Express now does their traveler's checks in the form of a prepaid card now, too, but I don't know for sure.
