Ever walk through very credit card statement and realize you have reoccuring charges for things you don't use?
I found some magazine subscriptions that are nice and charged to me yearly, but I never read them.
For now on, I'm cancelling as many as I can find.
At the end of the day, how many stealth expenses do you have?
I think I have at least $100 per month!

None, because I do not permit reoccuring charges on any of my cards.
This is what I go through at the beginning of each year. I check what I have spent the past year (thanks to Quicken and its category option) and if anything strikes me, I will look into eliminating / reducing it. I however do not set it to automatically renew on credit card.
