Travel Lethargy

One thing I've noticed as a result of intense business travel is the complete lethargy I feel the following week.

The weekend is spent with my wife and children, reconnecting and the following week at work is spent catching up with daily operations and making something of the meetings that occurred in the past week.

I find I have very little energy to perform personal finance administration, such duties would include:

  1. scanning and filing the 1099-r and other end of year tax forms
  2. paying bills
  3. filing loose papers

It's amazing. I've always endeavored to keep on top of these things but I'm exhausted and disinterested. Well, there's always tomorrow.

Regards, makinogurway

Oh my yes. I really hate travelling on business - especially the long haul trips to Europe. Even the short day trips around the region are quite draining as I tend to have to get the first flight out of Hong Kong and the last flight back. It makes for a long and tiring day.

It always amazes me that so many people view travelling on business as a perk.

Oh yes. I hate business travelling, especially the long haul flights to Europe. Even the day trips around the region are a pain once you have to get up in time to catch the first flight out and get home very late after getting the last flight back to Hong Kong. And then you have to catch up on all the things that didn't get done while you were away.

And to think that there are some people who view travelling as a perk.
