$2Million recently posted a wonderful article on his techniques for saving money (commuting from NY to NC). on airfares.
I recommend checking it out...I will probably try his approach myself, as usually, it seems sound and methodical.
There is a question, in the past I've used bookingbuddy to obtain a baseline price, but the interface is weak and it puts different airline prices in multiple pop-up windows. How does it compare to SideStep?
